父母延迟登陆以及护照过期问题

由于疫情原因，父母在国内一直没有登陆，差不多有一年了（去年九月底应该登陆）。

最近收到了移民局的邮件，问还想不想来加拿大，本人还是想让他们来的，但是疫情现在这个情况，又觉得旅途中还是不安全，但是我母亲的护照还有半年就到期了，现在国内护照一直不给续签，现在左右为难，不知道给如何回复移民局。来吧怕不安全，不来吧，一是不知道移民局那里还能不能拖很久，而是万一到时候护照到期了疫情还是不见好转，国内也不给续签，想来也来不了，纠结。还请论坛里的高人不吝指教，不胜感谢

如果你父母还想来加拿大，就回复移民局想来加拿大，时间不多了，你本人的想法应该不是最重要的。

这是个概率题，如果护照过期，基本上以后95%甚至更高的可能性就出不来了；再了解一下中国到加拿大旅途中感染的比例，虽然很难得到准确数据，但应该少于甚至远少于5%吧？否则每天有大量中国过来的人感染了，新闻、公众号早炸锅了。自己权衡一下，两害相权取其轻。

这个月刚刚在国内更新护照，需提供境外亲属的护照或PR卡复印件，移民局的信件要中文翻译一下，

国内出入境要求“非必要不旅行 ”，更新护照确实比之前费劲

城市是南昌。最后有没有公证不太清楚，不过听说公安局当场就会审批，如果提交的材料没问题，2周后就能拿到新护照。新护照已经拿到了。

麻烦问问你现在什么情况？我也有相同情况，登陆只给了半年时间，疫情的原因明年初老人不一定能登陆的，打电话给签证中心，他们说只能找移民局了解，我看了上面的情况请问你拿到新护照后，有成功申请登陆延期？就是再重新拿到签证？谢谢

收到移民局的信，问还打算来不来，回复说来，发了二次体检信，结果父母担心疫情不想来，想问这种情况还可以再延期吗？（签证已经过期一次了，给了机会重新体检重新颁发签证）

只需在web form 通知IRCC目前疫情未结束，出行有风险，IRCC会通情达理
